Thani Oruvan was a Tamil action thriller which became a super hit. This movie was remade in Telugu as Dhruva featuring Ram Charan and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Initially, D.V.V. Danayya had the remake rights for Thani Oruvan, but he gave it to Geetha Arts when they wanted to make the film. That was when Ram Charan gave a commitment to Danayya for a future project.
In the meanwhile, director Boyapati Srinu got an advance from the Geetha Arts banner to make a movie with Megastar Chiranjeevi. However, at the time, Boyapati was busy directing Jaya Janaki Nayaka. So Chiru went ahead to shoot for his 151st film, Sye Raa. Boyapati now has about a year’s time before his next film starts.
Boyapati and Geetha Arts decided to do a movie with Ram Charan in the meanwhile. They narrated a script to the Mega Powerstar and he liked it. However, Ram Charan asked Boyapati to collaborate with Danayya because of his prior commitments. Boyapati agreed to meet Danayya since he gave the remake rights of Dhruva to Geetha Arts when they asked for it.
Finally, it looks like the trio Ram Charan, Boyapati and Danayya are all set to make a movie together. However, an official confirmation is yet awaited.
On the other hand, Ram Charan is currently working on Rangasthalam and signed a film with Koratala Siva for his next.
Wishing Ram Charan as well as Boyapati and Danayya all the very best for their upcoming collaboration!
