Ace director Mani Ratnam is planning a multi starrer as his next directorial venture. He is developing the script and simultaneously adding diverse cast from the South film fraternity. For now reports state, Mani Ratnam has Arvind Swamy, Vijay Sethupathi, Nani, Fahadh Faasil and Simbu on board for the untitled venture.
The roles for each artist are catogorized as follows: Arvind Swamy and Fahadh Faasil are said to be playing the roles of gangsters, Vijay Sethupathi as a police officer and roles of Nani and Simbu are kept as suspense.
Sources say, actresses Jyothika, Aditi Rao Hydari and Aishwarya Rajesh have been apparently gave a nod for Mani’s project. Now coming to the crew, Santosh Sivan is the cinematographer and A.R. Rahman will be composing the tunes for this yet to titled film.
If all goes well and the locations are planned, then the film will begin rolling from January 18th, according to Kollywood sources.
