Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, popularly known as one of the Paruchuri Brothers, is all praises for Jr. NTR. Undoubtedly, Jr. NTR is performing incredibly well as the host of Bigg Boss and the show’s booming TRPs are the evidence. Recently, Gopalakrishna, happened to watch Bigg Boss TV Show. While watching the show, the Paruchuri brother had gone back to some vivid memories he had with Jr. NTR and Sr. NTR.
In 1995, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna met Jr. NTR on a train. The young tiger was then twelve years old and was travelling withj his crew of the film, Bala Ramayanam. Paruchuri met the director of the film, Gunasekhar and who introduced him to Jr. NTR. Seeing the young boy respectfully greet him,
the legendary writer was impressed. During their journey, Gopalakrishna forgot to carry his lunch with him. Seeing, there was no catering available in the railways, the young lad, Jr. NTR
very generously offered to share his lunch with the writer. This humble gesture of Jr. NTR mesmerised the Jr. Paruchuri and reminded him of a similiar memory he shared with Sr. NTR, the grandfather of Jr. NTR.
Back in 1981, Paruchuri Gopalakrishna’s elder brother Paruchuri Venkateswara Rao was assigned to pen the dialogues for a film. The producer asked Jr. Paruchuri to write the lyrics for a song but the offer was turned down by the junior brother since his Guru C. Narayana Reddy was hired to do the same and the best lyrics would be chosen for the film. Somehow things between the producer and the elder Paruchuri also didn’t work out, so the brothers walked out of the film. After this, the Paruchuri brothers went to meet Sr. NTR, to calm themselves down. Sr. NTR then insisted the ace writers to have lunch with him and his family, since it was Vinayaka Chavithi. During the lunch hour, Sr. NTR praised the writers by stating, it was an honour to have lunch with ‘ Saraswati Putrulu’ on a festive occasion. Getting such a compliment from a Legend, brought tears to their eyes.
Such mannerisms and such a charismatic personality with a compassionate heart of Sr. NTR, according to Paruchuri Gopalakrishna, the same characterisations are imbibed by Jr. NTR. These cherished memories of Jr. Paruchuri were recollected when he viewed Jr. NTR’s Bigg Boss. Paruchuri Gopalakrishna had also done a TV show called, Praja Vedika, which was aired for five years and Jr. Paruchuri hosted 200 episodes of the show.
