“Son of, Care of kadu; asalu nenu yevaru!?”
This is a burning question in the minds of today’s youth. Be it the son of a rich businessman or someone from a basthi, at some point of time, this question pops up in everyone’s mind. Not many movies address the issue of identity crisis, but, the recently released Goutham Nanda does. Not only does the movie address the issue of identity crisis, it also addresses money issues and how everybody’s life is dependent on money. Goutham Nanda points out the differences between the rich and the poor and highlights the fact that at the end of the day, people only care about money.
Starring Gopichand, Hansika Motwani and Catherine Tresa in lead roles, Goutham Nanda released on the 28th of July. Directed by Sampath Nandi and produced by J. Bhagavan, J. Pulla Rao under Sri Balaji Cine Media banner, the tagline is, “A journey into the self.”
Goutham Nanda is the story of a man who is trying to figure out who he is apart fro6m being the son of a rich businessman. On his journey of self-discovery, he encounters all the hurdles of life. This movie in which Gopichand dons both the rich man and the poor man’s avatar has mind boggling twists. He looks mast as the rich man and stunning as the guy from the slum.
‘Black and White’, a popular song from Goutham Nanda explains life in a basthi. This song gives us the gist of the whole movie. Apart from this song, music composer S.S. Thaman did a very good job with the music and perfect background score. The comedy angle in the movie was portrayed so well, it left the audience laughing their heads off.
All in all, Goutham Nanda is a comeback for Gopichand. This movie is a good family entertainer and for the first time, the audience get to witness their hero performing crazy stunts. Kudos to Gopichand and the entire team of Goutham Nanda on their success!
