In what could be an unbelievable magic figure, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has crossed a whopping Rs. 500 crores mark, cumulative of Telugu, Tamil and Hindi on its Day 3. Baahubali 2: The Conclusion released on April 28 and raked in Rs. 506 crores gross in its first weekend, say reports.
Since Monday, May 1st, was Labour Day and a holiday across the Country, trade pundits are expecting the film would have touched Rs. 600 crores gross.
Till Sunday, the worldwide collection of the film stands at Rs. 121 crores across the United States, United Kingdom, Australia, Canada and the Gulf nations. The collections of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, which stands $ 11 million from US, UK and Canada is almost as much as Dangal – one of the highest box office grossers – in its entire lifetime in the countries. In Australia alone, the film minted a total of $ 2.3 million – Telugu (875k) Hindi (840k) and Tamil (515k) – in the first week.
As the film is making box offices go ‘ting’ non-stop, and going by the trend it is expected to cross the Rs. 1000 crores mark overall in the second week. If this happens, Baahubali 2: The Conclusion will be the first Indian film to touch this mark and set new record in Indian cinema.
