Unfortunately, Jayasudha’s husband Nitin Kapoor has committed suicide yesterday. While, the whole film industry is expressing their condolences to the family, some interesting facts about their love story have come out.
It is a well known fact that the mother of Jayasudha is a small time actress. Jayasudha is a distant relative of Vijaya Nirmala and her original name was Sujatha. She made her acting debut as Jamuna’s daughter in “Pandanti Kapuram.”
Veteran director K. Balachander has introduced her into Kollywood. From then, because of Balachander, she became Jayasudha. At first, she got married to Mr. Rajendra Prasad, who is a relative of former AP Chief Minister Nadendla Bhaskar Rao. But due to some unexpected incidents, they both parted ways in short time. After some time, she had fallen in love Nitin Kapoor, who is a Punjabi film producer. She has been in a live in relationship with him for two years and then both got married.
During many interviews, she shared her love story as, “My Husband Nitin Kapoor is the first cousin of Bollywood hero Jithendra. When I was doing a film under Tirupati Pictures banner in Dasari’s film, Jithendra used to remake those films in Hindi. At that time, he is anxiously waiting to launch Nitin Kapoor as (a) director. But, firstly he wanted Nitin to work as (an) assistant director in Dasari’s films. At that time, I was doing films under the direction of Dasari. That’s how we met and got to know each other.”
”Actually, I was attracted to Nitin Kapoor’s looks on the first day itself. I don’t know whether it is love at first sight or not, but that moment I feel like living with him forever. We both like reading books and cricket and that’s how our similar thoughts connected us. Though, initially, our parents haven’t accepted the marriage proposal. But Dasari played the role of mediator for our marriage and also K. Raghavendra Rao helped us then. We got married in 1985.”
She further added that her husband is her best companion. “He is my best friend and I love him more than anything in the world.”
Such a beautiful love story, but, we feel sorry for your loss Jayasudha. Stay Strong. May Nitin Kapoor’s soul rest in peace.
