The definition of Indian Cinema is slowly changing now, as the directors are crossing all boundaries and choosing films with the unique story line. Breaking the monotony of commercial films, directors already made films like “Baahubali,” “Dangal,” “Bajirao Mastani” and now “Gautamiputra Satakarni.” Among all, the trend of historical films is getting popular and now with a huge budget of Rs. 600 crores, a film is all set to be made in multi-languages.
In plans is a story taken from the epic Mahabharata and throws light mainly on the character of Bheema and it is known that Mohanlal has already given his nod for this role. Now, the latest buzz is Akkineni Nagarjuna was approached for an important role in the film. The movie is based on the novel “Randam Ojjam” written by the popular Malayalam writer M.T. Vasudeva Nair. As per the updates, A.R. Rehman will score the tunes and K.U. Mohanan is the cinematographer. The film is likely to hit the floors by the end of this year.
There is also news that the film features Amitabh Bachchan as Bhishma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan as Draupadi and Vikram in the role of Arjuna. However, the official confirmation yet to be released by the filmmakers.
