The year 2017, for the Tollywood industry, is kick starting with a bang. Big films, “Khaidi No. 150” and “Gautamiputra Satakarni” which are releasing in January 2017 have become the talk in the media. Both the movies are gearing up for their respective releases and are promoting their films extravagantly.
“Gautamiputra Satakarni” And “Khaidi No. 150” wrapped up their post production works and are now heading for their censor clearing. According to sources, megastar’s “Khaidi No. 150” will go for censor screening on 29th of December 2016, while Balakrishna’s “Gautamiputra Satakarni” will go for censor screening on 5th of January 2017.
Both the films mark milestones for both the actors. While “Khaidi No. 150” is Chiranjeevi’s 150th film, “Gautamiputra Satakarni” is Balakrishna’s 100th film. Both these big films are of different genres. “Gautamiputra Satakarni” is a historical action film and “Khaidi No. 150” is an action drama film.
“Gautamiputra Satakarni” directed by Krish, features Shriya Saran
and Hema Malini in the lead roles. This film is jointly produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi Y. Rajeev Reddy Suhasini Panguluri under First Frame Entertainments banner.
“Khaidi No. 150” which is said to be the remake of the Tamil film “Kaththi” is directed by V. V. Vinayak and is jointly produced by Surekha Konidela, Ram Charan and A. Subashkaran under Konidela Production Company.
