Ram Gopal Varma’s event “Shiva To Vangaveeti” was a successful one. The event which was conducted to give a tribute to director Ram Gopal Varma was attended by many celebrities and eminent personalities of the Tollywood industry.
At the event, Ram Gopal Varma was emotional and was overwhelmed looking back to his past. In going down the memory lane, Ram Gopal Varma made many statements and promises. One of his statements said, “Directors like Rajamouli would thoroughly check the track before running on it. But, I would start running wherever I want hoping that the track will be laid automatically. I am a wild horse. Whereas, Rajamouli is a tamed horse.”
In his other statement, he made a surprising promise. Ram Gopal Varma said, “I am making a promise from this stage. I would make films which make me feel proud from now. I won’t make bad films anymore. People say I don’t keep my promises. So, I make this promise on Rajamouli. I am more honest now. So, I won’t break this promise.”
In a couple of moments, Nagarjuna was called on the dais to address the gathering. When Nagarjuna advised Ram Gopal Varma not make promises, because it doesn’t suit him, Ram Gopal Varma said, “I would like to make a small correction. I am shifting the promise I made on Rajamouli to Nagarjuna. Why because, I might ignore the promise on Rajamouli.”
This shows how bounded Nagarjuna and Ram Gopal Varma are. Indeed, R.G.V.’s first film “Siva” gave a break for Nagarjuna and also for R.G.V.
