Avanthika Trailer Out

“Avanthika” is an upcoming horror film featuring Poorna, Dhanraj, Shakalaka Shankar, Sayaji Shinde and Ajay Ghosh in the lead roles. This film is directed by SriRaj Balla and produced by Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana under Bhimavaram talkies production house. Someshwar Pocham edited the film and Raviraj Balla composed the music album for the film.

After successful horror films like “Raju Gari Gadhi” and “Avunu,” Poorna is back with another horror film “Avanthika.” This film is said to be a female centric film. In a conversation with the media, actor Poorna said, “When Director Sri Raj narrated the outline of the film, I accepted immediately and I am eagerly waiting for the shooting. The unit members are pointing out that the character Avantika to me is what Arundhati was for Anushka. Now, there is pressure on me to essay the character well.”

Actor Poorna is quite famous in the Malayalam industry. She made her debut in the Malayalam film “Manju Poloru Penkutty” in 2004. She made her Telugu debut in “Sri Mahalakshmi” in 2007. Moving on she made about 36 films Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil and Kannada films.

Popular news daily, The Hindu labeled her “the ghost queen of Telugu films.” The release date of the film “Avanthika” is yet to be announced.
