Amidst huge speculations from the audience Ram Charan’s “Dhruva” has made great box office collections. “Dhruva” “Dhruva” is absolutely fantastic. The movie is a must watch for its action scenes accompanied by great suspense. Ram Charan, in all ways, has done a perfect job. Arvind Swamy and Rakul Preet Singh have also done a marvelous job in portraying their characters.
According to sources these are approximate area wise collections of “Dhruva,” Nizam: 10.69 crore rupees, Ceeded: 4.74 crore rupees, Uttar Andhra: Rs 3.99 crore rupees, Guntur: Rs 2.52 crore rupees, Krishna: 2.18 crore rupees, East: 2.34 crore rupees West: 2.07 crore rupees and Nellore: 0.98 crore rupees, the first week collections in total of AP/Nizam collections sum up to 29.51 crore rupees. “Dhruva” first week worldwide collections are 41.2 crore rupees including collections Karnataka: 5.56 crore rupees and other parts of India: 1 crore rupees, from the USA: 3.93 crore rupees, and rest of World: 1.20 crore rupees. Worldwide “Dhruva” collected a gross of 64.4 crore rupees and Share of 41.2 crore rupees.
Trade analysts projected the collections of “Dhruva” to be about 80 crores. If the movie succeeds to do so, “Dhruva” will be among the top hits of Tollywood. This action-oriented film was played in 1000 plus theaters in India and in the overseas the move was screened in about 160, which is the highest for a Ram Charan film so far.
“Dhruva” is a remake of the very successful Tamil film “Thani Oruvan.” Surender Reddy’s directorial venture featured Ram Charan, Arvind Swamy and Rakul Preet Singh in the lead roles. Allu Arvind has produced the film under his own banner, Geetha Arts.
