Age is no a barrier for Victory Venkatesh. Veteran producer Daggubati Ramanaidu’s son Venkatesh is one of the busiest actors in the Tollywood industry. Hailing from a cinema background, Venkatesh made his debut in the movie “Kaliyuga Pandavulu” in 1986 which fetched him a Nandi award for the best male debut actor. Moving on he appeared in about 70 films so far and has about 41 numerous awards to his credit.
Ram Gopal Varma’s directorial “Kshana Kshanam” in which Venkatesh played his role opposite to Sri Devi was a super hit in 1991. This movie had set a trend in the Tollywood industry at that point of time. Few of his critically acclaimed movies include “Bobbili Raja,” “Chanti,” “Preminchukundam Raa,” “Suryavamsam,” “Raja,” “Kalisundam Raa,” “Sankranthi,” “Aadavari Matalaku Ardhalu Verule” and “Gharshana.” Many of his successful films were remade in other languages too.
Venkatesh along with his brother Suresh Babu owns the production company Suresh Productions, which is one of the largest production houses in India. Venkatesh is also a brand ambassador for numerous brands in the market.
His recent film “Babu Bangaram” was a hit film. This film was directed by Maruthi and Nayanthara played the female role. His upcoming film “Guru” is a sports drama film which is a remake of the Hindi-Tamil film “Saala Khadoos.”
