Vishnu Manchu started 2016 with the super hit entertainer “Eedo Rakam Aado Rakam.” The actor was planning to have another release this year with “Luckunnodu” in December. However, destiny had other plans. Vishnu has to defer the film’s release.
Owing to Demonetisation, Vishnu has decided to postpone the film’s release, and going by insiders, the movie is expected to release sometime in January after Sankranthi.
Directed by Raaja Kiran of “Geethanjali” fame, the film features Hansika Motwani, Vishnu’s lucky mascot. Vishnu and Hansika have been considered as a successful combo. The duo’s previous films “Denikaina Ready” and “Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda” have fared well at the ticket windows.
Vishnu is now hoping to recreate the same magic with “Luckunnodu” as well. Already the film’s teaser has been received well and has gone viral online. Billed to be an action entertainer, the film is all about an unlucky jinxed guy named Lucky who spreads his misfortune to the people he encounters. Then he meets Hansika’s character– his love interest; what forms the rest of the story is how the couple overcome their ordeals.
If all goes as per plan, the film is expected to release on January 26, coinciding with the Republic Day.
