“Dhruva” is here again creating yet another record. Ram Charan is highly elated as his movie “Dhruva” is performing great at the box office and is also winning the hearts of the people. Despite being a remake of the Tamil film “Thani Oruvan,” director Surender Reddy succeeded in making the movie keeping the Telugu audience in mind. Ram Charan beats a Bollywood movie’s first day collections.
“Dhruva” collected approximately 12.33 crore rupees at the box office, whereas the Bollywood film “Befikre” collected approximately 10.36 crore rupees. Interestingly “Dhruva” was screened in 1000 plus theaters worldwide and “Befikre” was screened in about 2900 theaters. It is amazing to see a Telugu film doing great numbers at the box office.
Ranveer Singh’s “Befikre” was made with a budget of approximately 70 crore rupees. On the other hand Ram Charan‘s “Dhruva” was made with a budget of approximately 60 crore rupees. This is just the second day since both the movies released. Let us see how both these movies perform in the coming days.
Despite Bollywood industry having more number of viewers than the Telugu industry, “Dhruva” made it big at the box office. “Dhruva” is not only making big collections, but it is also receiving a great response from the audiences. Demonetization of currency notes seems to be no issue now. Team “Dhruva” in a way is helping the country in turning it into a cash less economy.
