Ram Charan’s “Dhruva” is releasing on 9th of December 2016. Ram Charan is also producing his dad Chiranjeevi’s 150th film “Khaidi No. 150.” As a producer, he decided to project the trailer of “Khadi No. 150” before the film starts screening at theaters. Apparently, the trailer of Balakrishna‘s 100th film “Gautamiputra Satakarni” was also supposed to be released on the same day and the makers of the movie planned to screen it in 100 theaters.
The latest news is that Balakrishna has decided to cancel the screening of his teaser in 100 theaters as he feels that this would be an unnecessary clash between two big films. Balakrishna’s 100th film “Gautamiputra Satakarni” is directed by Krish and jointly produced by Saibabu Jagarlamudi, Y. Rajeev Reddy and Suhasini Panguluri under First Frame Entertainments. Along with Balakrishna, this film features Shriya Saran, Hema Malini, Shiva Rajkumar and Kabir Bedi in the lead roles. The movie is based on the life history of the Satavahana ruler Gautamiputra Satakarni.
On the other hand Chiranjeevi‘s 150th film “Khaidi No. 150” is directed V.V. Vinayak and jointly produced by Ram Charan and A. Subashkaran under Konidela production company. Along with Chiranjeevi, the movie features Kajal Aggarwal and Shriya Saran in the lead roles. The movie is said to be a remake of the Tamil film “Kaththi.”
Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna are legendary actors of the the Tollywood industry. Both are stupendous actors with their unique trademark dialogues delivery, action gestures and dance styles. Earlier both of them had a clash at the box office and were mostly equal in their equation of winning at the box office. The release date of both these movies will also be clashing in January 2017 coinciding with the Sankranthi festival.
