Ever since Rana Daggubati‘s comeback film in Hindi, ‘Ghazi’, is announced, there has been a great buzz around it. Touted to be India’s first submarine war based film, ‘Ghazi’ gained significance by roping in Taapsee Pannu who is riding high with “Pink” success. Living upto the expectations, the film’s first look poster released today has raised the expectations bar higher.
Based on the true incidents happened during 1971 Indo Pak War and a submarine PNS Ghazi, the film is helmed by Sankalp. The director originally penned a book on PNS Ghazi which is now made into feature film with high-end technical values.
PNS Ghazi was a Tench-Class diesel-electric submarine built by United States in 1944 and transferred to Pakistan in 1964 had a mysterious sank departure near Vizag, thanks to the Eastern sea front operation led by INS Rajput. The thriller will revolve around this operation by navy.
Matinee Entertainments and PVP Cinema are jointly produced the film. Makers are planning to release the film in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages on February 17th, 2017.
