According to sources, Akkineni Nagarjuna and K. Raghavendra Rao‘s much awaited devotional flick “Om Namo Venkatesaya” satellite rights have been sold for a whopping amount of Rs. 12.5 crores approximately. The leading channel, ETV has purchased the rights despite having stiff competition from other channels.
According to latest updates, the shooting of “Om Namo Venkatesaya” is going on at a smooth pace and will be nearing completion in a few days. While Nagarjuna plays the role of Hathiram Baba an ardent devotee of lord Venkateshwara, Anushka, Pragya Jaiswal, and Vimala Raman are playing pivotal roles and Bollywood actor Saurabh Jain will be seen as lord Venkateshwara.
Music and background score for the movie is composed by M.M. Keeravani. This devotional flick is produced by A. Mahesh Reddy on AMR Sai Krupa Entertainments banner. The forthcoming flick is expected to hit theaters during the festive season of Sankranthi in January. Hope the film turns out to be successful.
