Ram Gopal Varma’s upcoming biographical film “Vangaveeti” was recently in the news as they had got a legal notice from Vangaveeti Ranga’s son Vangaveeti Radha. He filed a petition stating that the film cooked up wrong facts of the what had happened in the past. The Court summoned both the parties for a hearing on 2nd of December and here’s the court’s decision.
The Court directed the makers of “Vangaveeti” to exclude the song “Kamma Kaapu” from the movie, with which the makers complied. Director Ram Gopal Varma, took it to his Twitter account and tweeted, “Respecting sentiments of some ppl we removing Kamma Kaapu song from Vangaveeti..The film is an emotional drama and it doesn’t demean anyone.”
“Vangaveeti” is now free from all legal issues. The team will have their audio launch event tomorrow, the 3rd of December 2016 at K.L. University, Vijayawada. Ram Gopal Varma reportedly invited the students of the University for the audio launch event. The music album of the film is composed by Ravi Shanker.
This political thriller revolves around politician and Kapu leader Vangaveeti Ranga who was brutally killed by his rivals. The film is set in the 1980s, when N.T. Rama Rao was ruling teh State. “Vangaveeti” is scheduled to release on 23rd of December 2016.
