Most wanted actor, Vijay Antony‘s Telugu dubbed version “Bethaludu” which was released on 1st December, impressed the audience greatly. Previously, Vijay shot to fame in both the Telugu States with the blockbuster film “Bichagadu” which created a craze that helped “Bethaludu” to pull huge crowds to theatres on its 1st day now. Here is the opening day collections at the box office.
In the process of promotion, the makers had spent a huge sum of money to make the film to get a big opening. Since there were no original Telugu films in the theatres this week, “Bethaludu” was released in around 650 screens across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana on December 1. This is a big screen count for a dubbed film. Demonetisation and Nada Cyclone were expected to have an impact on its business, but they did not affect this dubbed film.
As per the estimation, “Bethaludu” collected around Rs. 3.5 crore gross at the box office in the Telugu States on day 1. The film is estimated to have made Rs. 1.5 to 2 crores on the opening day. Vijay’s “Bethaludu” had a good advance booking and registered a decent occupancy in the morning shows on opening day. The word of mouth publicity and positive reviews boosted the collections in the afternoon and evening shows.
Within a very short time, multi talented Vijay created a brand name for himself and mesmerised the Telugu audience with his acting. Here is the area-wise collection earned by thriller entertainer “Bethaludu” and these are the estimated numbers.
