“Nakshatram” is an upcoming flick featuring Sundeep Kishan, Pragya Jaiswal, Regina Cassandra, Sai Dharam Tej and Prakash Raj in the lead roles. While Krishna Vamsi is directing this action-oriented film, it is jointly produced by S. Venugopal, K. Srinivasulu and Sajju under Sri Chakra Media, Butta Bomma Creations and Win Win Win Creations.
Jolly Bastian is a talented and a dexterous stunt master. Before becoming a stunt master, he was a bike mechanic. Krishna Vamsi and Jolly Bastian worked together in Krishna’s directorial “Danger,” and this is the second time both of them are collaborating. Why did Krishna Vamsi particularly select stunt master Jolly Bastian for “Nakshatram?” Krishna Vamsi says, Jolly Bastian is an extremely talented and a down to earth person. Krishna Vamsi first saw Jolly Bastian’s work in Chiranjeevi’s film “Annayya”, impressed by his work Krishna Vamsi selected Jolly Bastian for the movie “Danger.” After looking at his work in both the films, Krishna Vamsi couldn’t think about any other stunt master and selected Jolly for “Nakshatram” too. Though Jolly Bastian is settled in the Kannada industry, on Krishna Vamsi’s request he accepted to direct the stunts for “Nakshatram.” The actions scenes were made with a budget of 80 lakh rupees.
Apart from being a dexterous stunt master, Jolly Bastian is a mellifluous singer. At his leisure, he goes to weddings and events to perform on stage as a singer. A few of his notable filmography include, “Nattukku Oru Nallavan,” “Bangalore Days,” “Gaalipata,” “Annayya” and “Putnanja.”
The makers of “Nakshatram” recently released the first look posters of the film and they are looking absolutely intriguing. This action oriented film is anticipated to release sometime next year.
