Young actor Allu Sirish made a mark in Tollywood with his chocolate boy looks. Since then he has experimented with various genres and has been seen in unusual roles. Now the latest update is that Allu Sirish will be playing a crucial role as a tank commander in a Malayalam upcoming war film “1971: Beyond Borders” alongside Mohanlal.
The actor has said that the experience so far has been physical demanding but at the same time very cherishing. He is making his Malayalam debut with this film in which Mohanlal is playing a dual role.
He shared the experience on his Twitter page saying, “Wrapped up the first schedule of 1971. Physically demanding! Learnt so much about the army, war and history. An experience I’ll always cherish. Our country owes our jawans a lot. Extreme weather, minimum resources, no personal life. Yet they’re so determined and selfless. Real heroes!”
The film is touted to be a story based on some true events of the 1971 Indian-Pakistan war. Allu Sirish’s brother Allu Arjun is very popular in Kerala. Will Allu Sirish also impress the Malayalam audience just like his brother? Let us wait and see!
