A nine-minute video of India’s biggest magnum opus “Baahubali: The Conclusion” was leaked by a team member of the editing department who works at a film studio. S.S.Rajamouli‘s prestigious project “Baahubali” is being made by with a whopping budget of approximately 200 crore rupees. “Baahubali: The Conclusion” is the most anticipated movie of 2017.
Despite safeguarding the secrecy of the story, the mishap took place when Krishna Dayanand, a trainee in graphic designing at Annapurna Studios stole the nine-minute footage from the workplace by logging into the server. Makers of “Baahubali” had given the nine-minute to Annapurna Studios for editing the video. Krishna transferred the video to his phone and immediately sent it to his friends, Aishwarya and Akhil who reside in Vijayawada. No sooner did he send the video to his friends, than he deleted it from his phone.
This incident was first figured out by the producer of the film, Y Shobhanadri on YouTube. He soon lodged a complaint at the cyber crime of Hyderabad commisionarate. The team of cyber crime rushed to Krishna’s home in Tolichoki, Hyderabad and investigated his computer and phone and found the clippings on his desktop of his computer. The police directed Krishna to call his friends Aishwarya and Akhil and tell them to send the video back. To the amusement, the video clippings matched.
Sources also said, makers of “Baahubali” had given Annapurna Studio a 12-minute clipping from which culprit Krishna stole 9 minutes and circulated 5 minutes of it. Presently the police have confiscated his phone and computer to get a thorough report of the conspiracy. Cyber crime police also wrote a mail to YouTube requesting them to block the video and the police would soon reveal the IP address and account details of the uploader.
Culprit Krishna is a native of Sathupalli, a town in Khammam district. We so far know that he had come to Hyderabad in search of a job and that’s how he landed to Annapurna Studios. In the leaked video, Anushka and Prabhas were seen preparing for a counter battlefield. In the first part, Anushka was hardly seen in her role of Maharani Devasena. In this part, she seems to have a major role and is seen as a warrior. The visuals were stupendous.
