The 47th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) has begun on Sunday which is going to be the 9-day event in Goa. Our Tollywood’s ace director S. S. Rajamouli is now part of this big event. The opening ceremony of IFFI Goa 2016 has started with “Journey of Women in Indian Cinema” as the theme.
Getting into the details, out of 230 films only 22 films have been selected by the 13-member Jury, comprising of well-known actors and directors. Luckily, the iconic National Award Winning Director S. S. Rajamouli will be the chief guest of IFFI 2016 Closing ceremony.
Being a film-maker and screenwriter he delivered many blockbusters and his recent film “Baahubali” garnered him a worldwide fame, notable for his films like Vikramarkudu, Magadheera, Eega and many more. Many are trying hard to break the records set by the biggest magnum opus epic periodic drama “Baahubali: The Beginning.”
This film festival aims to give the young and aspiring filmmakers a platform, where they get to learn and interact with big directors and producers. Rajamouli’s creative marvel “Baahubali: The Beginning” has brought him great honor in the industry.
