Krishna Vamsi is an Indian film director, producer and choreographer known for his creativity. He made his directorial debut with the Telugu film “Gulabi” and before turning director, worked as an assistant director under Ram Gopal Varma for several films. He has received 2 National Film Awards, 3 Filmfare Awards-South, 3 Nandi Awards and earned the title of “Creative Director.”

Director Krishna Vamsi started his career as a camera assistant, assistant to the editor and assistant director. Later established his own production house, Andhra Talkies. One can easily see the creative magic in the films made by Krishna Vamsi.

“Ninne Pelladutha”, “Sindhooram”, “Chandralekha” ,”Anthapuram” ,”Murari” ,”Khadgam”, “Chandamama”, “Sasirekha Parinayam” ,”Mahatma” and “Govindudu Andarivadele” are some of his films which were noted for their style and approach to the subject. Besides directing, he also choreographed many songs for the films like “Rakhi,” “Chakram” and “Khadgam.” He ventured into Bollywood with the flick “Shakti: The Power” a remake of his Telugu classic “Antahpuram.”  After a brief lull, the creative director has bounced back with Ram Charan’s “Govindudu Andarivadele,” and is currently busy with “Nakshatram” which features Sundeep Kishan and Regina in the lead roles, supported by Kajal and Sudeep in special roles.
