Sai Kumar is an Indian film dubbing artist, turned actor and a television host who has made a mark in Telugu and Kannada film industries. He started his career dubbing when he was still very young. His father is P.J. Sarma, a leading artist, considered as the dubbing king and Sai Kumar followed in his father’s footsteps.
He rose to fame as a very successful star with the Kannada film “Police story” which was also voice dubbed in Telugu and Tamil. Having dubbed for Suman and Dr. Rajasekhar for many of their films, Sai Kumar has exceptional dialogue delivery and Telugu diction clarity in his voice. He voiced over 70 films in Telugu, Tamil, and Kannada. Especially roles that needed a powerful and authoritative voice such as Policemen. He has received two Nandi Awards and three Filmfare Awards.
In addition to this, he also hosted “Deal or No Deal” on Gemini TV, “WOW” game show on ETV and recently he hosted another reality show “Luck unte Lakshmi” on ETV Telugu. Recent Kannada blockbuster hit film “Rangitaranga,” which created records is another milestone in Sai Kumar‘s career. It was one of the top 300 Indian films in the Oscar race in 2016 and his performance in the film was not only well praised by the critics but also fetched him an IIFA Award at IIFA Utsavam 2015.
