Megastar Chiranjeevi, who changed the face of commercial cinema has left his fans chagrined when the star hero decided to bid adieu from films to pursue his pursuit politics. It’s been over 9 years the hero has been away from the arc lights and the fans are eagerly waiting for their matinee idol’s comeback to the industry that industry he owned indisputably for over 30 years. Finally, the moment has arrived and the mega fans can have a huge sigh of relief.
Megastar Chiranjeevi is all set to comeback and has recently confirmed his 150th movie would be a remake of the superhit Tamil movie Kathi which dealt with the theme on the plight of the farmers. Though the title hasn’t been officially confirmed yet, the makers are considering Kathilantodu as the tentative title.
The prestigious project to be helmed by VV Vinayak who earlier directed Chiranjeevi in Tagore, one of the massive blockbusters in the actors and directors career. It’s heard that the director Vinayak has made some minor changes in the script to suit the stars image and added a bit of comedy to cater it to all the section of audiences.
Bringing all speculations to an end, and bringing an unalloyed delight for all the mega fans, the date for the regular shooting has been finally confirmed. As per the latest reports, the movie’s regular shoot would commence from 6th June.
