Creative Director Krishna Vamsi is a class apart among the bevy of commercial directors. In an era cluttered with core commercial movies and heavily banked on Star heroes, Krishna Vamsi rewrote the rules of the celluloid and changed the face of the Telugu Cinema with his family dramas imbued with human values. He has the distinction of the directors who kept the perfect balance between what people wanted to watch and what he wanted to deliver. All his films are masterpieces which never ceases to amaze you and continue to draw laurels.
Of late, the director is not at his best and is going through a lean patch. His most-anticipated Govindudu Andarivadele failed to leave any impact at the box-office despite its ensemble cast. Krishna Vamsi was supposed to direct a horror-thriller Rudraksha with Samantha and Ramyakrishna, but the project didn’t materialize due to various reasons. After that, he has been chosen to direct Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 100th film and the auteur has narrated a farmer backdrop film to Balakrishna and got his nod. But, a twist in the tale came when Balakrishna has officially announced that his 100th will be directed by Kanche director Krish. As per the latest grapevine, the creative genius will be directing the budding hero Sundeep Kishan and nothing has been confirmed officially. It has to be seen whether Krishan Vamsi can get back the Midas touch he lost quite sometime back.
